My Maya 3D animation software version 2011 project

I love drawing and seeing a digitally movable object. Since, i saw one animation movie from cinema, i’ve been aiming to get myself to learn how to do and make my own 3D animation. In my country, I started searching for schools that cater courses on 3D animation, but a whooping Php 70,000  is the tuition fee. Since i cant afford it i set aside my dream. Now i am in US, this dream started to come to reality again and made me look for a good animation school. I found one, near our home, and like a slap on my face, it is fainting USD 100,000. Since this dream seems to look like will just be a dream, I started making ways to learn it myself. I installed 3D animation tool called Maya 2011 downloaded online from http://usa.autodesk.com/maya/trial .  Currently i am following some tutorials online from  this site http://www.vtc.com/products/Autodesk-Maya-2011-Tutorials.htm

The image below shows my first Maya 3D Static Object created using Maya 2011.  Way to go but at least its a good start.

Autodesk Maya commonly shortened to Maya, is 3D computer graphics software that runs on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux, originally developed by Alias Systems Corporation (formerly Alias|Wavefront) and currently owned and developed by Autodesk, Inc. It is used to create interactive 3D applications, including video games, animated film, TV series, or visual effects. The product is named after the Sanskrit word Maya (माया māyā), the Hindu concept of illusion.[3]
